Some Cans are dropped by enemies with a dollar sign ($) over their head when they're defeated. Almost all the Cans remain even after Rayman touches them, in case he needs to recharge himself again. Rayman can't actually pick up Superpower Cans, but he can touch them to gain an ability. Superpower Cans use "laser technology" to spruce up a person's clothes, temporarily granting the wearer special abilities. Superpower Can - A beat-up-looking canister manufactured by the Hoodlums. Every six Medallions Rayman gathers will extend his life meter by a small yet appreciable amount. The Teensies give magical Medallions to Rayman to show their appreciation for rescuing them. Medallion - A small token, usually made of metal or alloy. When Rayman is near a Cage, the Teensy inside will call out, "Help!" For every Cage Rayman breaks, he will earn a Medallion. The Hoodlums have trapped the Teensies inside their Cages, which are attached to balloons. Rayman can bust them open with loaded punches.Ĭage - A device for containing prisoners and other living beings. These "Pig Pots" are named so due to their appearances. Pot - The Hoodlums' preferred means of storage for their plundered goods. A regular gold Jewel is worth 10 points, a red Ruby is worth 30 points, and a green tear-shaped Emerald is worth 1500 points. Rayman gains Points for each Jewel he takes back from the greedy hands of the Hoodlums. Jewel - A finely cut piece of precious mineral, often used to decorate other objects or traded for large sums of money.
